Adipotide | Body Fat & Adipose Tissue

Adipotide is an experimental research peptide studied for a very different approach to body-fat research. Instead of primarily targeting hunger or metabolic hormones, researchers have investigated whether it can target the blood vessels that supply white fat tissue. This has led to research into body fat, fat mass, and the biology that allows fat tissue to maintain itself.

In scientific terms, adipotide is a targeted pro-apoptotic peptide designed to recognize a vascular marker associated with white adipose tissue. Research has included animal models, including nonhuman primates, and kidney-related toxicity observed during this research remains an important limitation.
